Wed May 6 - Girls Guns & Glory w/Yarn - The Double Door

A++ Show and musicianship from beginning to end. Both these bands are going places. Next time GGG might even be staying at our house! You may recall the first time we saw them we were so taken by their songs and the band I had to have all 3 of their CDs. They all are played regularly still. The band was just as great as I remembered, and by the end of the night rocked the room and had people up and dancing. (Think Hank Williams meets Chris Isaak). And Yarn was fantastically tight as well and both bands complimented each other. I was really really glad I went out to see this show, and look forward to seeing them both again. Girls Guns & Glory will be at Speed Street on May 23rd (nice gig!..the crowd will eat them up!)..5:45 pm. Hopefully I'll be able to see them then. Hmmm.. the light rail there and back would make it very easy to do... See you there?
