I was in a mood for some Sushi, and then a nice, comfortable seat under the stars hearing some good acoustic music with a delightful glass of wine, and tonight at Summit was exactly what I ordered. The night air was mild and pleasant, the Chardonnay delicious, the acoustic duo of Rick & Angelo was laid back and lovely, and we even ran into old friends (Hi Rusty!) and met new ones too (Hi Cate & John Cloer!) Perfect.
Well, wouldn't you know it that late in the night our happy-footed friend Michele texted DK and invited us to come to the newly opened 70's/80's music dance club - Dammit Janet. Yes, we did it. Yes we danced. Yes we had a good time too! You should do it at least once. It was taking a few steps back in time, with the rock and/or disco music, the lighted dance floor and some brave, fun souls who dressed up in platforms and afro wigs. How could you not be entertained in one way or another. And you'll have a story to tell by the end of the night.
