We only caught the first set of the Ryan Montbleau Band, but WOW. They were on fire and the crowd, most of whom were unfamiliar with them, ate it all up. They will most definitely be back and I'm pretty sure the room will be filled to capacity next time they do. I can't wait. I missed them the moment I left the DD, and wished I had stayed for the whole 20+ songs!
I'm not as familiar with The Stellas as a lot of my friends (and hubby) are, so I can't quite comment much on their acoustic set vs. an electric set. The massive crowd there showed them a lot of love, as they did for Flagship Brigade at the end of the night too. Flagship was having a lot of technical problems and missing a player, so they didn't seem to get into a nice groove like they have for us in the past, unfortunately. I DO know they're quite good and will see them again as soon as I can. Both bands I believe are on their way up, with The Stellas performing a tour in Asia for the Armed Forces Entertainment Tour the entire month of May, so catch them in these small halls while you can
