First stop - the tasty grilled pork tenderloin & corn on
the cob from our neighbor Benji at Scott & CindySue's. SO good!
I took a quick drive up w/our friend Ken Cotner (The Turnstiles) to see The Honeycutters, a band I discovered via MySpace and was smitten by their sound and songs. In person, just as good..actually even better than I had hoped! One of those really tight bands that obviously were made to perform together. I hated Don had to miss this one, but they play all over Asheville, with an occasional stop back in Charlotte, so I'm hoping we see them again very soon. Loved their Americana/Country sometimes mournful and melancholy sound. http://www.myspace.com/thehoneycutters
