While all shows and artists were extremely good, the highlight tonight was seeing the reunion of Tesser together again at Prevue.
When I first got involved in this music scene, the first group of musicians and singers and songwriters I got to know were mostly friends and family of the Toscos. You see, I had taken guitar lessons through CPCC, and my instructor was John Tosco. I offered to set the Tosco Music Party up with a website, and the rest is history. Wes & Phil & Scottie & Shana (from Tesser) & more & their family and friends welcomed us warmly into the fold, and it's grown ever since. We loved being a part of this celebration amongst so many who have been friends now for a long time.
And we welcomed back John Dungan and the lovely Kia to Charlotte too!
