The Evening Muse was PACKED for both the Momentary Prophets early show and then the Crowfield late show. We saw some of Virginia's MP "neo-hippies" and thought they were very pretty, life loving peaceful performers. The venue was so crowded, and it was so hot, that we found it hard to stay put in one place though and ran into a lot of our friends in the neighborhood. It turned into a very social evening when we ran into our old friends Baxter & Brian. I was thrilled to see them, and even more pleased we were able to grab a seat on the patio at Solstice and hang out with them for a couple hours. We had a lot of catching up to do and a lot of laughs to share.
Luckily we ended that visit in enough time to get back to the Muse to catch Crowfield. WOW. That was fantastic fun. The crowd was up on their feet, dancing and singing along to every song, and the band was having a great time. They just got signed with Universal Republic so I imagine we'll be seeing and hearing a whole lot more about them very, very soon. Catch their high energy show in small venues now while you still can! Add them to the growing list of small acts we're happy we're seeing in their early stages.
See them open for Hootie and The Blowfish Aug. 11th in Charleston!
