Jill was
very good, as always and expected. She had a full band with her and
played for over an hour, after Amelia's Mechanics, who were a great,
pleasant surprise to us! We liked this female trio a whole lot and will
be watching their career take off. Easily.
Raised by Wolves raised the roof in the full house! Loved seeing them perform such a fine rock set in front of so many people. A lot were there to see Those Darlins (as were we, in addition to RbW), so CT & the gang had to grab and keep the crowd's attention. That they did and had fun doing it.
Those Darlins..I had been curious and looking forward to seeing this band live, as I've liked everything I've heard online. Well...I'm not sure exactly what happened this night as I've been reading other good reviews of their performances, but it was not what I had hoped for. While they had a lot of energy and determination, what I heard prior to the show did not match what I heard on the stage. And unfortunately many others agreed with me.
