IF you see this movie (which you really should..the great reviews have been spot on), you need to see it in 3D.
I read the book a few year's ago and Neil Gaiman never fails me, bless him. He's been promoting this movie like crazy via the web, his website, emails, podcasts, blogs and a very active twitter account. It's been amazing following along his daily travels and experiences and thoughts and reactions to the press surrounding this film. After all that hype leading up to it, and loving the book already, I HAD to see it asap. Simply delightful. Not nearly as "dark" as some of the reviews might have mentioned, or maybe I knew what to expect. They did a fantastic job recreating the book onto the big screen. AND..some of the preview trailors before the movie were in 3D too! (Pixar's UP, for instance.) I love that new technology and look forward to seeing more movies, especially a Pixar film, in 3D.
Congratulations Neil and the whole team on a fine production, and a very unique tale. Can't wait for the next one.
